ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಛಲವಾದಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ಇದೀಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಧಾನಪರಿಷತ್ ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗೇಟು ನೀಡಲು ತಂತ್ರ ರೂಪಿಸಿದೆ.
