ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತನಿಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಸ್‌‍ಐಟಿ ನಿಷ್ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾನೂನಾತಕವಾಗಿ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ. ಕಾನೂನಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಯಾವತ್ತೋ ಹೇಳಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೇಳುವುದು ಇಲ್ಲ. ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಎಸ್‌‍ಐಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಪೊಲೀಸರು. ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಸತ್ಯಾಸತ್ಯತೆ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಎಸ್‌‍ಐಟಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ಸಿಬಿಐಗೆ ವಹಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿಬಿಐ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಸಿಬಿಐ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಿಬಿಐ ಎಂದರೆ ಕರೆಷ್ಪನ್‌ ಬ್ಯೂರೋ ಆಫ್‌ ಇನ್ವೆಸ್ಟಿಗೇಷನ್‌ ಎಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಚೋರ್‌ ಬಜಾವೋ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಎಂದು ಟೀಕಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈಗ ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸಿಬಿಐ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು
ಹಿಂದೆ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ರವಿ, ಲಾಟರಿ, ಕೆ.ಜೆ.ಜಾರ್ಜ್‌, ಪರೇಶ್‌ ಮೆಸ್ತಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿಬಿಐಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವು. ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಆಯಿತೆ. ಹಾಗೇಂದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಸಿಬಿಐ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರ್ಥವಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಪೆನ್‌ಡ್ರೈವ್‌ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ, ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಿಬಿಐ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಕೇಳುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯಾ, ಮಲೇಶಿಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತನಿಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರ ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನಮಗೆ ನಮ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಹೇಗೆ ? ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಕಾಲಾವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಬೇಕಲ್ಲವೇ ? ಎಂದರು.
ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಹೆಚ್‌.ಡಿ.ರೇವಣ್ಣ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಪಹರಣ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಣಾ ಜಾಮೀನಿಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಜಾಮೀನು ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಸುಳ್ಳು ಎಫ್‌ಐಆರ್‌ ಎಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಾಮೀನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕಿತ್ತಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ವಾದಿಸಿದರು.
