ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೆಡಿಎಸ್ ಆದಷ್ಟು ಬೇಗ ವಿಲೀನವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೆಲವರು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಕೃಷಿ ಸಚಿವ ಚೆಲುವರಾಯಸ್ವಾಮಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೂರು ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಘೋಷಣೆಯಾಗಬಹುದು. ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ತಯಾರಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಚನ್ನಪಟ್ಟಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲು ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಸಿ.ಪಿ.ಯೋಗೇಶ್ವರ್‌ ಬಹಳ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಕನಸು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಎಚ್‌.ಡಿ.ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ತಮಗೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ಆಸೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಆದರೆ, ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರು ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರನಿಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್‌ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾದು ನೋಡೋಣ. ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೋ ಎಂದರು.
