    ಕುವೆಂಪು ನಗರದ ರಘು (65) ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿ (25), ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟವರು, ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಾಸು, ರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಚಿಂತಾಜನಕವಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಕೋರಮಂಗಲದಲ್ಲ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಮಾರಾಟ ಅಂಗಡಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ತಂದೆ ಮಗ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅಂಗಡಿಯ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ರಾತ್ರಿ 12 ಗಂಟೆಯ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಈ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ.
    ಮೃತ ತಂದೆ ವಾಸು, ಪುತ್ರ ಚಿರಂಜೀವಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ವಾಸು ಮೂವರು ಇಸ್ರೋ ಸರ್ಕಲ್ ಬಳಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ಹಿಂಬಂದಿಯಿಂದ ಕಂಠಪೂರ್ತಿ ಕುಡಿದ ಗುಂಪೊಂದು ಇಕೋ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

    ಘಟನಾ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಆಟೋ ಚಾಲಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಸೇರಿ ಅಪಘಾತ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರನ್ನು ತಡೆದು ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಆಕಾಶ್ ನನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಸದಾಶಿವನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಉಳಿದವರು ಅಪಘಾತ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಕಾಶ್ ಮಾಗಡಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯೆಯ ಪುತ್ರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
