ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ರಹಿತ, ದುರ್ಗಮ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಡ್ಡಗಾಡು ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಜನರ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇವೆ ನೀಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೆ ಆ್ಯಂಬುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಗಳ ಸೇವೆಗೆ 2.90 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ.ಗಳ ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸೇತುವಿನ ಪ್ರತಿ ಘಟಕಕ್ಕೆ 1.60 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿ ಘಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯರು, ಶುಶ್ರೂಷಿಕಿಯರು, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞರ ಸೇವೆ ಇರಲಿದ್ದು, ರೋಗಿಗಳ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ನೆರವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
