ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ವರಿಕೆ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಕಾಫ್ ಸಿರಫ್ಗಳ ಮಾದರಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ತಪಾಸಣೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಕಾಫ್ ಸಿರಫ್ಗಳ ಟೆಸ್ಟ್ಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲು ಔಷಧಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಔಷಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಪಾಸಣೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾಫ್ ಸಿರಫ್ ಬಳಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಫ್ ಸಿರಫ್ಗಳ ಮಾದರಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ತಪಾಸಣೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾಫ್ ಸಿರಫ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅನಾಹುತ ನಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರು, ಔಷಧಿ ತಯಾರಿಕಾ ಘಟಕಗಳ ಬೇಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು, ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಒಡಿಶಾ, ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ, ಪುದುಚೆರಿ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 5 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಿರಫ್ ಕುಡಿಸುವಾಗಲೂ ಪೋಷಕರು ಬಹಳ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಕಾಫ್ ಸಿರಫ್ ಸೇವನೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
