ರಾಜ್ಯ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ತೆರವು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸುಮಾರು 500 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಬೆಲೆ ಬಾಳುವ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೃಕ್ಷೋಧ್ಯಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಪಕ್ಷಿಲೋಕ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಈ ಜಮೀನನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಭೂಗಳ್ಳರು ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಅರಣ್ಯಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಒತ್ತುವರಿದಾರರಿಂದ
ಮರುವಶ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ 17 ಎಕರೆ ಜಮೀನಿನ ಖುದ್ದು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಸಚಿವ ಈಶ್ವರ ಖಂಡ್ರೆ,ಇದನ್ನು ವೃಕ್ಷೋಧ್ಯಾನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವೃಕ್ಷೋಧ್ಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ 1800 ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪ್ರಭೇದದ ಸಸಿ ನೆಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಮೀನಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ತಂತಿ ಬೇಲಿ ಹಾಕುವ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗೂ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಬೃಹದಾಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ನಗರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಸಿರಾಡಲು ಹಸಿರು ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಐ.ಟಿ., ಬಿ.ಟಿ. ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿರುವ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಕಾಂಕ್ರೀಟ್ ಕಾಡಿನಂತಿದ್ದು, 17 ಎಕರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಲಿರುವ ಈ ವೃಕ್ಷೋಧ್ಯಾನ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವಾಯು ವಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಾರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಯ ಕಳೆಯಲು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮನರಂಜನೆಯ ತಾಣವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
