ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೌಕರರ ಬಹುದಿನದ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ನೌಕರರ ವೇತನ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆಗೆ ರಚಿಸಿದ್ದ ಏಳನೇ ವೇತನ ಆಯೋಗದ ಶಿಫಾರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ 1ರಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.
ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಜಾರಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನೀತಿ ಸಂಹಿತೆ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಅದು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ ನೀತಿ ಸಂಹಿತೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಾಳೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಜುಲೈ 1ರಿಂದ ಅನ್ವಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ವೇತನ ನೀಡಲು ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಗಳು ಹೇಳಿವೆ.

ವೇತನ ಆಯೋಗವು ಶೇಕಡ 31ರಷ್ಟು ತುಟ್ಟಿಭತ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಮೂಲವೇತನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಲೀನಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಜತೆಗೆ, ಶೇ 27.50ರಷ್ಟು ಫಿಟ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. 2022ರ ಜೂನ್ನಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವಾನ್ವಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಶಿಫಾರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ 244 ಪುಟಗಳ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತ್ತು.
