    ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವಿವಿಧ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮಂಡಳಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗುವ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಜನಿವಾರ, ಮಾಂಗಲ್ಯ ಸರ, ಕಾಲುಂಗುರ ಉಡುದಾರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸೂಚನೆ ವಿವಾದ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದೆ.
    ವಿಶ್ವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಿಷತ್, ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಸಭಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಆದೇಶದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
    ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗುವ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಜನಿವಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಗಳಸೂತ್ರ ತೆಗೆಸಬಾರದು. ಈ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿರುವ ಸುತ್ತೋಲೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾರ್ಪಾಡು ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಖಾತೆ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ವಿ.ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
    ಈ ಕುರಿತು ತಮಗೆ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸಂಸದ ಕ್ಯಾ. ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಚೌಟ ಅವರು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿರುವ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸೋಮಣ್ಣ ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ
    ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್‌ ಸೂಪರಿಂಟೆಂಡೆಂಟ್‌ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಏ.29ರಂದು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗುವ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಂಗಳಸೂತ್ರ, ಕಾಲುಂಗುರ,ಜನಿವಾರ, ಕೈಬಳೆ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದಿಟ್ಟು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಕೊಠಡಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
    ಸಿಇಟಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿವಾರ ತೆಗೆಸಿದ ಕ್ರಮ ತೀವ್ರ ವಿವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದಾದ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲ್ಲೆ ಅಂತಹದ್ದೇ ಆದೇಶ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೂ ನೀಡಿರುವುದು ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಕೇತಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹೊಂದಿರಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ನಮೂದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ
    ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪರಿಷತ್‌ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಆದೇಶ ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಸಿಇಟಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆಯುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಜನಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ಹಾಕಿರುವುದು ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಭಾವನೆಗೆ ದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದಿದೆ. ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಹಿಂದೂಗಳ ಆಕ್ರೋಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಮುತ್ತೈದೆ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗಳು ತಾಳಿ ಸರ ಕಳಚುವಂತೆ, ಜನಿವಾರ,ಶಿವದಾರ, ಉಡುದಾರ ತೆಗೆಯುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮೀಯರ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಭಾವನೆಗೆ ನೋವು ತರುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದಿದೆ.
