    ಅಕ್ರಮ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಗಳಿಕೆ ಆರೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾನೂನಿನ ಕುಣಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಪಾರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
    ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನಿಗದಿತ ಆದಾಯ ಮೂಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆದಾಯ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಲಾದ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಸಿ ಬಿ ಐ ತನಿಖೆಯಿಂದ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆದು ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತ ತನಿಖೆಗೆವಹಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.
    ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಶಾಸಕ ಬಸನಗೌಡ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಯತ್ನಾಳ್ ಅವರು ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿ ರಿಟ್ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಚಾವ್ ಮಾಡುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಸಿಬಿಐ ತನಿಖೆಯಿಂದ ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಪಾದಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
    ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಗಳಿಕೆ ಆರೋಪದ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಸಿ ಬಿ ಐ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ತನ್ನ ತನಿಖೆಯನ್ನು ಬಹುತೇಕ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ ಇಂತಹ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತನಿಖಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಕ್ರಮ ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಿಬಿಐ ಕೂಡ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತ್ತು
    ಈ ಎರಡೂ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಕೆ ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಉಮೇಶ್ ಅಡಿಗ ಅವರಿದ್ದ ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ಪೀಠ ವಾದ- ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಆಲಿಸಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಿತ್ತು.
    ಈ ತೀರ್ಪು ಇದೀಗ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬಸನಗೌಡ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಯತ್ನಾಳ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬಿಐ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
    ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬಿಐ ನಡುವಿನ ವಿವಾದವಾಗಿದೆ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಈ ವಿವಾದವನ್ನು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಈ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನ ವಿಭಾಗೀಯ ಪೀಠ ನಡೆಸಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪೀಠ ಹೇಳಿದೆ ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಿಲೀಫ್ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ.
