ಹಾಸನ,ಜ.1- ನಗರದ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್‌ವೇರ್ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ರೊಬ್ಬರು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆಗೆ ಶರಣಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪತ್ನಿ ಕಾಟದಿಂದ ಬೇಸತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೆಂಜ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ (35)ಡಿ 29 ರಂದು ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆ ಬಳಿಕ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಗೊರೂರು ಸಮೀಪ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ನದಿಗೆ ಹಾರಿ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆಲೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ ಶವ ನೋಡಲು ಪತ್ನಿಯೂ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಹೈಡ್ರಾಮಾ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ತಾಯಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಗು ಜೊತೆ ಪತಿ ಶವ ನೋಡಲು ಪತ್ನಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಪತ್ನಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ನಡುವೆ ವಾಗ್ವಾದ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಪತ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಕೆಯ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದರು. ಜನರನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹರಸಾಹಸ ಪಡುವಂತಾಯಿತು.
ಪತ್ನಿ ಕಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಸತ್ತು ಟೆಕ್ಕಿ ಅತುಲ್ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಸಂಚಲನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ಇಂತಹ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ವರದಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿವೆ.
