ಕಪಲ್ಸ್ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಖದೀಮರು ಅದರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಅಶ್ಲೀಲ ಪೋಟೋ ವಿಡಿಯೋಗಳನ್ನು ಚಿತ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಬೆದರಿಸಿ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
ಇವರಿಂದ ವಂಚನೆಗೊಳಗಾದವರು ನೀಡಿದ ದೂರಿನ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಖತರ್ನಾಕ್ ಖದೀಮರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಅಶ್ಲೀಲ ಪೋಟೋಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಡಿಯೋಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಹಣ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ನಗರದ ಬಿಇಎಂಎಲ್ ಲೇಔಟ್ ನ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್(41) ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸೊರಬದ ಹರೀಶ್ ಕೆ.ಬಿ(32) ಎಂಬುವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಬಂಧಿತರಿಂದ ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಳಸಿದ 7 ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದು ಲ್ಯಾಪ್‍ಟಾಪ್‍ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತನಿಖೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ದಯಾನಂದ ಅವರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
