ಪ್ರತಿ ಬಿಯರ್ ಬಾಟಲಿಗೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 10 ರಿಂದ 50 ರೂ.ಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಲ್ಕೋಹಾಲ್‌ ಅಂಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಲ್ಯಾಗರ್‌ ಬಿಯರ್ (ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆಲ್ಕೋಹಾಲ್‌ ಅಂಶವಿರುವ) ಬಿಯರ್‌ಗಳ ದರ ಅಷ್ಟೇನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಸ್ಟ್ರಾಂಗ್‌ ಬಿಯರ್‌ಗಳ ಬೆಲೆ ಭಾರಿ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರ 2024-25ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ 38,525 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಆದಾಯದ ಗುರಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, 2024ರ ಡಿ.31ರವರೆಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲ 9 ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ23,733 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮಾತ್ರ ಆದಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನುಳಿದ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿಸುಮಾರು 15 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಆದಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದ ಸವಾಲು ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಮುಂದಿದೆ.
