ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಬಿಎಂಆರ್ ಸಿಎಲ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಯಶವಂತ್ ಚೌಹಾನ್ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಮಿಟಿ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಒಂದು ಸಭೆ ಕೂಡಾ ಆಗಿದೆ, ಕಮಿಟಿ ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ವರದಿ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ. ವರದಿ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಸಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ನಿವೃತ್ತ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶರು ಇರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಮಿಟಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ. ಬಿಎಂಆರ್ ಸಿ ಎಲ್ ಖರ್ಚು ವೆಚ್ಚ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಮಿಟಿ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇನ್ನು ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿ 2017 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಎಂಆರ್ಸಿಲ್ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ದರವನ್ನು ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಬೆಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.ಇದೀಗ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಇರುವ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ದರ
ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಮಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿ 2 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ದರ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಸದ್ಯ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೆಟ್ರೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ದರ 10 ರೂ. ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ದರ 60 ರೂ. ಇದೆ. ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ಯೂ ಆರ್ ಕೋಡ್ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಬುಕ್ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಶೇ. 5ರಷ್ಟು ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ಇದೆ. ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ 2020ರವರೆಗೆ ಈ ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ಶೇ. 15ರಷ್ಟು ಇತ್ತು.
ಕೊನೆಯ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ 2017ರಲ್ಲಿ ದರ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಫೇಸ್1 ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಾಗ ಶೇ. 10-15ರಷ್ಟು ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
