ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಮುಖರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಂಘರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಿಗೆ ಇದೀಗ ಜಡ್ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಯ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ಲಿಖಿತ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ಗುಪ್ತಚರ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ವರದಿಯ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗೆಹ್ಲೋಟ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ Z ಕೆಟಗರಿ ಭದ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ.
ಮೈಸೂರು ನಗರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ನಿವೇಶನ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಆರೋಪ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ನಂತರ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಗಳು ನಡೆದಿದ್ದವು.
ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಸಭೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹಲವು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದವು ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಕೆಲವು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಇದಾದ ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ನಡುವೆ ಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲ ವಿರುದ್ದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರು ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೀಗ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ.
