ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರ ಭಟ್ ಅವರು ‘ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾದ ಒಂದು ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕು, ದರ್ಶನ್ ಪಾಸ್ ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಗೆ ಸೆರೆಂಡರ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು’ ಷರತ್ತು ವಿಧಿಸಿ ಹೈ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಏಕಸದಸ್ಯ ಪೀಠದ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಾಮೀನು ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ದರ್ಶನ್ ರ ಜಾಮೀನು ಅರ್ಜಿ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಳಹಂತದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ಆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ತಿರಸ್ಕೃರಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಬಳಿಕ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಪರ ವಕೀಲರಾದ ಸಿವಿ ನಾಗೇಶ್ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು. ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ದರ್ಶನ್ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಜಾಮೀನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ದರ್ಶನ್ಗೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಬೆನ್ನುನೋವಿನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದೆ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ತಡವಾದರೆ ಅವರು ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವವಾಯುವಿಗೆ ಈಡಾಗುವ ಆತಂಕ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ದರ್ಶನ್ ಪರ ವಕೀಲರು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
