ಬುಕ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಐಫೋನ್ (iPhone) ಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಹಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಡೆಲಿವೆರಿ ಬಾಯ್‌ನ ಕತ್ತು ಕೊಯ್ದು ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮೃತದೇಹವನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಮೃಗೀಯ ಘಟನೆ ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ (Arsikere) ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಂಚೆಕೊಪ್ಪಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜನತೆ ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬಿದ್ದಿದೆ.
ಕಳೆದ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 11 ರಂದು ಅಂಚೆಕೊಪ್ಪಲು ಸಮೀಪದ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಟ್ರ‍್ಯಾಕ್ ಬಳಿ ಸುಟ್ಟ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕನ ಮೃತದೇಹ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತನಿಖೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು, ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕೊಲೆ ಆರೋಪಿ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತ (20) ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು, ಹೇಮಂತ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ (23) ಕೊಲೆಯಾದ ಯುವಕ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆರೋಪಿ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮೃತದೇಹವನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ತನಿಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಮೃತ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ ಇ-ಕಾರ್ಟ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಪ್ರೆಸ್‌ (Ekart express) ನಲ್ಲಿ ಡೆಲಿವರಿ ಬಾಯ್ ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಆರೋಪಿ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಫ್ಲಿಪ್‌ಕಾರ್ಟ್‌ (Flipkart) ನಲ್ಲಿ 46 ಸಾವಿರ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಸೆಕೆಂಡ್ ಹ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಐಫೋನ್ ಬುಕ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 7ರಂದು ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ, ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀಪುರ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತ ಮನೆಗೆ ಐಫೋನ್ ಡೆಲಿವರಿ ಕೊಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದ.
ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದೊಡನೆ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತ ಐಫೋನ್ ಬಾಕ್ಸ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಓಪನ್ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ. ಆದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದ ನಾಯ್ಕ ತನ್ನಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಓಪನ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಸಿಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ, ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ 46 ಸಾವಿರ ಹಣ ಕೊಡಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದ. ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ನಂತರ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತ ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊ ಹಣ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ. ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತ ಡೆಲಿವರಿ ಬಾಯ್ ಗೆ ಕೊಡಲು ಹಣವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ವಾಪಸ್ ಬಂದ.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕುಳಿತು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ನಾಯ್ಕನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಚಾಕುವಿನಿಂದ ಚುಚ್ಚಿ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ. ನಂತರ ಮೃತದೇಹವನ್ನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ. ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನಗಳ ನಂತರ ಹೆಣ ವಾಸನೆ ಬರತೊಡಗಿತು. ಅದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲಾರದೆ ಫೆ.11 ರಂದು ಗೋಣಿಚೀಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಣ ತುಂಬಿ ಬೈಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಂಚೆಕೊಪ್ಪಲು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಬ್ರಿಡ್ಜ್ ಬಳಿ ತೆರಳಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲ್, ಸೀಮೆಎಣ್ಣೆ ಸುರಿದು ಮೃತದೇಹ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿ ತೆಪ್ಪಗಾಗಿದ್ದ.
ಇತ್ತ ಮೃತನ ಸೋದರ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮ ಎರಡು ದಿನವಾದರೂ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತನಿಖೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ತನಿಖೆ ವೇಳೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬೀಳಿಸುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಯಲಿಗೆಳೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಐ ಫೋನ್ ಡೆಲಿವರಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ವಿಳಾಸ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ಆರೋಪಿ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ದತ್ತನನ್ನ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದಾಗ, ಇಡೀ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
