ಪರಪ್ಪನ ಅಗ್ರಹಾರ (Parappana Agrahara) ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೇಕ್ ಕಟ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಸೆಲಬ್ರೆಷನ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಒಳಗಡೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಜೈಲ್ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಆತನ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪೀಣ್ಯ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಆನಂದ್ ಎಂಬುವರ ಕೊಲೆ ಕೃತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಮೇಶ್‌ ಜೈಲು ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಜೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈತ ತನ್ನ ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಅದ್ದೂರಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಜೈಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಹಾಯ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಖೈದಿಯ ಭರ್ಜರಿ ಬರ್ತ್‌ಡೇ ಆಚರಣೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯೇ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಆದರೂ ಕೂಡ ಜೈಲಿನ ಮೇಲಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಮಗಿದರ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
