ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸೇವೆ ಖಾಯಂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ (Guest Lecturer) ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಸೇವಾ ಭದ್ರತೆ ನೀಡಲು ಕಾನೂನು ತೊಡಕು ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗಲೂ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ತಾವು ದನಿ ಎತ್ತಿ ವೇತನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು, ಇದೀಗ ಎರಡೇ ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೇತನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯಿಂದ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಐದು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸೇವಾನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಿಗೆ 5 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ., 5 ರಿಂದ 10 ವರ್ಷದ ಸೇವಾನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಿಗೆ 6 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ., 10 ರಿಂದ 15 ವರ್ಷದ ಸೇವಾನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಿಗೆ 7 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಹಾಗೂ 15 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸೇವಾನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಿಗೆ 8 ಸಾವಿರ ರೂ. ಗಳಷ್ಟು ಗೌರವಧನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಮಾಡಲು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಮಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ, ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, 60 ವರ್ಷ ಮೀರಿದ ನಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭದ್ರತಾ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಇಡಿಗಂಡು ನೀಡುವುದು, ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ 15 ಗಂಟೆಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಭಾರ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ಮಾಸಿಕ 1 ದಿನ ವೇತನ ಸಹಿತ ರಜೆ ನೀಡುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ 3 ತಿಂಗಳ ವೇತನ ಸಹಿತ ಮಾತೃತ್ವ ರಜೆ ನೀಡಲು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು.
