ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಖಚಿತ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆಯ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ದೆಹಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, 2,500 ಕೋಟಿ ಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 1,100 ಕೆಜಿ ಮೆಫಡ್ರೋನ್‌ ಮಾದಕವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ವೈಭವ್ ಅಲಿಯಾಸ್ ಪಿಂತ್ಯ ಭರತ್ ಮಾನೆ, ಅಜಯ್ ಅಮರನಾಥ್ ಕೊರ್ಸಿಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಹೈದರ್ ಶೇಖ್ ಸೇರಿ ಮೂವರು ಡ್ರಗ್ ಪೆಡ್ಲರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಬಂಧಿತರನ್ನು ತೀವ್ರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಒಳಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಆಧರಿಸಿ ನಿಷೇಧಿತ ಡ್ರಗ್ 700 ಕೆಜಿ ಮೆಫೆಡ್ರೋನ್ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಂಧಿತರು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಆಧರಿಸಿ ದೆಹಲಿಯ ಹೌಜ್ ಖಾಸ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿನ ಗೋಡೌನ್‌ಗಳಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ 400 ಕೆಜಿ ಸಿಂಥೆಟಿಕ್ ಉತ್ತೇಜಕವನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
100 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಡ್ರಗ್ಸ್ ಉಪ್ಪಿನ ಪ್ಯಾಕೆಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ . ಪುಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಕುರ್ಕುಂಭ್ ಎಂಐಡಿಸಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಐದು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂವರು ಕೊರಿಯರ್‌ ಬಾಯ್ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ಬರು ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಮಿಷನರ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮೂವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರಿಂದ 3.85 ಕೋಟಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ ಸುಮಾರು 1.75 ಕೆಜಿ ಮೆಫೆಡ್ರೋನ್ (ಎಂಡಿ) ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತನಿಖೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಎರಡು ಗೋದಾಮುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ 55 ಕೆಜಿ ಎಂಡಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದೆ. ಮೂವರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಆಧರಿಸಿ ಕುರ್ಕುಂಭ್ ಎಂಐಡಿಸಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಘಟಕದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 550 ಕೆ.ಜಿ ಎಂ.ಡಿ. ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು 1100 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 600 ಕೆಜಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮೆಫೆಡ್ರೋನ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ವಿದೇಶಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡಲು ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಎಂದು ಒಬ್ಬರು ಬಾಯ್ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ 52 ಕೆಜಿ ಮೆಫೆಡ್ರೋನ್ ಮಾದಕ ದ್ರವ್ಯ, ಸೆಂಕ್ ಬ್ಯಾಗ್, ಎರಡು ಮೊಬೈಲ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ
