ಸೂರ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಅಪರಿಚಿತ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿ ಆಮಿಷವೊಡ್ಡಿ ಶಿಂಷಾಪುರದ ಮೇರಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಂಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಬೆಳಕವಾಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಶ್ಯಾಲೋಮ್ ಎಜುಕೇಷನ್ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮೇರಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಆಮಿಷವೊಡ್ಡಿ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಪರಿಚಯವಾಗಿದ್ದ. ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಗೆ 25 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ದೇಣಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಬದಲಿಗೆ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲು ನಗದು ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ 1.10 ಕೋಟಿ ನಗದು ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ. ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಮಾತು ನಂಬಿ ಮೇರಿ ಅವರು ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು 1.10 ಕೋಟಿ ನಗದು ಹಣ ಹೊಂದಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಕಾರೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಕಲಿ ನೋಟು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೇರಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ವಂಚಕ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲ ತಾನೇ ತಂದಿದ್ದ ಜ್ಯೂಸ್ ಕುಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನಂತರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೆಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ತಪ್ಪುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಮೇರಿಯವರು ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟ ಅರೆಂಜ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಹಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
