    ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟು 2,36,100 ಮತದಾರರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಸ್ಟಿ 65 ಸಾವಿರ, ಎಸ್ಸಿ 40 ಸಾವಿರ, ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ 35 ಸಾವಿರ, ಕುರುಬರು 30 ಸಾವಿರ, ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ 10 ಸಾವಿರ, ಹಾಗೂ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ, ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಕಮ್ಮ, ಬಲಿಜ ಜಾತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಸಮುದಾಯದ 40 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಮತದಾರರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
