ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗೇಟು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ನಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಸಕರು ಮಾರಾಟದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಕಮಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ ಡಿ ಎ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕೂಡ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಆಪರೇಷನ್ ಕಮಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಭ್ರಮೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
