ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಏಳೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಡೆಂಗ್ಯೂ ಸೋಂಕಿನಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಏಳೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಝೀಕಾ ವೈರಸ್ ಕೂಡ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುರ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
