ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು:ಬಸ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ನಡುವೆಯೇ ಸದ್ದಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಿಯರ್ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸಕ್ತ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಮೊದಲ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬಕಾರಿಯಿಂದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಆದಾಯ ಬಾರದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಕಾರ ಬಜೆಟ್ಗೆ ಮುನ್ನವೇ ಬಿಯರ್ ದರ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಮದ್ಯ ಪ್ರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಶಾಕ್ ನೀಡಿದೆ,
ಪ್ರತಿ ಬಿಯರ್ ಬಾಟಲಿಗೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 10 ರಿಂದ 50 ರೂ.ಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಲ್ಕೋಹಾಲ್ ಅಂಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ದರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಲ್ಯಾಗರ್ ಬಿಯರ್ (ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆಲ್ಕೋಹಾಲ್ ಅಂಶವಿರುವ) ಬಿಯರ್ಗಳ ದರ ಅಷ್ಟೇನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಸ್ಟ್ರಾಂಗ್ ಬಿಯರ್ಗಳ ಬೆಲೆ ಭಾರಿ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಆದರೆ, ಬಿಯರ್ ಮೇಲಿನ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಸುಂಕವನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಕೋಹಾಲ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಲು ಕಳೆದ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕರಡು ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿ, ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಆಗಲೇ ಸುಂಕ ಏರಿಕೆ ಕಡತ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳ ಅನುಮೋದನೆಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ನಾನಾ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಆ ಕಡತಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈಗ, ಸಿಎಂ ಸುಂಕ ಏರಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿರುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಸರಕಾರ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರ 2024-25ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ 38,525 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಆದಾಯದ ಗುರಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, 2024ರ ಡಿ.31ರವರೆಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲ 9 ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ23,733 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮಾತ್ರ ಆದಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನುಳಿದ ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿಸುಮಾರು 15 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಆದಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದ ಸವಾಲು ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಮುಂದಿದೆ.
