ಕೊಲೆ ಆರೋಪ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿತನಾದ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸದೆ ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಆರೋಪ ಸಂಬಂಧ ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿ ನಗರ ಠಾಣೆ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್‌ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 6 ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದ ಅಮಾನತು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕೊಲೆ ಆರೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲು ಹೋದಾಗ ಆತ ಅಮಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ
ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ.ಗಾಂಜಾ ಮಾರಾಟ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಆರೋಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಈತನನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಠಾಣೆಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದಿದ್ದರು.
ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಯಾದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸದೆ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಹಣ ಪಡೆದು ಯಾವುದೇ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸದೇ ಇದ್ದ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿಬಂದಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಠಾಣೆಯ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್‌ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಕಮಿಷನರ್ ದಯಾನಂದ್‌ಗೆ ರಾಮಮೂರ್ತಿನಗರ ಠಾಣೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರು.
ಇದನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದ ಅವರು ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪೂರ್ವ ವಲಯ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಮಿಷನರ್ ಸತೀಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
