    ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಡಿಸಿಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದ ನಕಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನ ಅಡವಿಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಆರ್‌.ಎಂ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥಗೌಡ ಅವರನ್ನು ಜಾರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು, ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
    ಅಪೆಕ್ಸ್‌ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ನ ಅತಿಥಿ ಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಂಜುನಾಥಗೌಡ ಅವರನ್ನು ಇ.ಡಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದು ಕೆಲಕಾಲ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.

    ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಹಕಾರ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಕಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ ಅಡವಿಟ್ಟು 62.77 ಕೋಟಿ ಸಾಲ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ತನಿಖೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಜಾರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಾಲಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ನಗರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ
    2014ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಕಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನಾಭರಣ ಅಡವಿಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಡಿಸಿಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಹಾಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಆರ್.ಎಂ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥಗೌಡ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ಜಾಮೀನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರು.
    ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಆಗಿನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕಿ ಶೋಭಾ, ಆಗ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ, ಕಾರು ಚಾಲಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್.ಎಂ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥಗೌಡ ಅವರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ನೆರವು ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ
