    ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನಗರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಗುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಡಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ನೀರು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಸಹಾಯಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯಂಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿ ನಾಳೆಯಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಅನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟಾವಧಿ ಧರಣಿ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
    ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ, ನಗರಸಭೆ, ಪುರಸಭೆ, ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಹೊರಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೌಕರರ ಸಂಘದ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ನಾಗಣ್ಣಗೌಡ, ‘ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ, ತಹಸೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಕಚೇರಿ ಎದುರು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೌಕರರು ಧರಣಿ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

    ‘ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಕಾಯಂಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಕಸ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲಕರು, ಸಹಾಯಕರು, ನೀರು ಪೂರೈಕೆದಾರರನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಲೋಡರ್ಸ್, ಕ್ಲೀನರ್ಸ್, ಡೇಟಾ ಎಂಟ್ರಿ ಆಪರೇಟರ್ಸ್, ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟರಿ ಸೂಪರ್ವೈಸರ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ನೇರ ನೇಮಕಾತಿಗೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ‘ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಈ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ನಡೆಯಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 15 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಅತಂತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 330 ನಗರ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಹೊರಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಸೇರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲೂಕು ಆಡಳಿತ ಕಚೇರಿ ಎದುರು ಧರಣಿ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಹೋರಾಟದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದರು.
