    ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನಗಳು ತೀವ್ರಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಬಜೆಟ್‌ ಅಧಿವೇಶನದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ.ವೈ.ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
    ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿಯೆ ಚರ್ಚೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಚಿವ ಸತೀಶ ಜಾರಕಿಹೊಳಿ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಔತಣಕೂಟ ಆಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ದಾಳ ಉರುಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
    ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸಿದ್ಧರಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಬಣ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಿಎಂ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧ ವರ್ಸಸ್ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಲೇವಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
    ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್‌ ವಿದೇಶ ಪ್ರವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿರುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭ, ಅವರ ಅನುಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಔತಣಕೂಟ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿರುವುದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿನ ಒಳಬೇಗುದಿಯ ಫಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
