ಆತಂಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿ ಪದವೀಧರ ನನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವಿ.ವಿ.ಪುರಂ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿಯನ್ನು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಡಾರ್ಜಿಲಿಂಗ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸಾಲ್‌ಬರಿಯ ಬಿಕಾಂ ಪದವೀಧರ ದೀಪಾಂಜಲ್ ಮಿಶ್ರ‌ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆರೋಪಿಯು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಭೀತಿ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲು ಇಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಎಂದು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬಿ.ದಯಾನಂದ ಅವರು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಳೆದ ಅ.10ರಂದು ವಿ.ವಿ.ಪುರಂ ಠಾಣಾ ಸರಹದ್ದಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಇನ್‌ಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ (ಬಿಐಟಿ) ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೈಡೋಜನ್ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಸುಧಾರಿತ ಐಇಡಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ಇ-ಮೇಲ್ ಸಂದೇಶ ರವಾನೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಇದೊಂದು ಹುಸಿ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಕರೆ ಎಂದು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು ಆನಂತರ ಹುಸಿ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಕರೆ
ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಯಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನಿಖೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹನುಮಂತನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ಸರಹದ್ದಿನ ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಎಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಸಹ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ದೂರನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಹನುಮಂತನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ತನಿಖೆಯನ್ನು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಧಾನಗಳಿಂದ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದ ಡಾರ್ಜಿಲಿಂಗ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಸಾಲ್‌ಬರಿ ಟೌನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಆತನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೊಳಪಡಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಈ ಕೃತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಪ್ರೊಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
