ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಹೊಸ ಕಾನೂನು ಜಾರಿ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಶೇಕಡ 80ರಷ್ಟು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮುಖಂಡರ ಅಹವಾಲು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಈ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ನಿಯೋಗದ ಬೇಟಿಯ ನಂತರ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಸರೋಜಿನಿ ಮಹಿಷಿ ವರದಿ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಈ ಮನವಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಅಡ್ವೋಕೇಟ್ ಜನರಲ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಸಾಂವಿಧಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಇಂತಹ ಕಾಯಿದೆ ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಇರುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವರದಿ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಅವಕಾಶ ದೊರಕಿಸಿ ಕೊಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯೊಂದನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಫ್ರೀಡಂ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಧರಣಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಗೂ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರವೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ
ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಂತದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಜಾರಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.
