    ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ದುರ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ತಮ್ಮ ಪತ್ನಿ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ನಿವೇಶನ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿ ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ವಿಶೇಷ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಮಯಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಟಿ.ಜೆ.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಂ ಅವರು ದೂರು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು
    ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ ದೂರಿನ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಆಲಿಸಿ ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು, ‘ಶಾಸಕರು-ಸಂಸದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ’ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧೀಶ ಸಂತೋಷ ಗಜಾನನ ಭಟ್ ತೆರೆದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಕ್ತಲೇಖನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದರು.
    ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನಿನ್ನೆಯಷ್ಟೇ (ಸೆ.23) ಅಸ್ತು ಎಂದಿತ್ತು. ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ನಿಗ್ರಹ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ- 1988ರ ಕಲಂ 17 ಎ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ರಿಟ್ ಅರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಎಂ.ನಾಗಪ್ರಸನ್ನ ಅವರಿದ್ದ ಏಕಸದಸ್ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪೀಠ ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಿತ್ತು.
