ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಹಾರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ (ಎಫ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಐ) ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹಾರ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ನಿರ್ವಾಹಕರಿಗೆ (ಎಫ್‌ಬಿಒಗಳು) ‘100% ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸಗಳ’ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ಲೈಮ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಲೇಬಲ್‌ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಹೀರಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುವಂತೆ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲು ನಿರ್ದೇಶನವನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ. 1ನೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್, 2024 ರ ಮೊದಲು ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೂರ್ವ-ಮುದ್ರಿತ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜಿಂಗ್ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಖಾಲಿ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ FBO ಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

100% ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸಗಳು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಲವಾರು FBO ಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ಪುನರ್ರಚಿಸಿದ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಾಗಿ ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು FSSAI ಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ನಂತರ, ಆಹಾರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ (ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಮತ್ತು ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 2018 ರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, 100% ಕ್ಲೈಮ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಯಾವುದೇ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು FSSAI ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ತಪ್ಪುದಾರಿಗೆಳೆಯುವಂತಿವೆ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಘಟಕಾಂಶ ನೀರು ಆಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಕ್ಲೈಮ್ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸ ಅಥವಾ ತಿರುಳು ಸೀಮಿತ ಸಾಂದ್ರತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಪುನರ್ರಚಿಸಲಾದ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸಗಳನ್ನು ‘100% ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸಗಳು’ ಎಂದು ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವ ಕುರಿತು ನೀಡಿದ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟೀಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ, FBO ಗಳು ಆಹಾರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳ ಉಪ-ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ 2.3.6 ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ರಸಗಳ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನೆನಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ( ಆಹಾರ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಹಾರ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗಳು) ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ, 2011. ಈ ಮಾನದಂಡವು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹಾರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ (ಲೇಬಲಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 2020 ರ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಲೇಬಲ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಈ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ, ಘಟಕಾಂಶದ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, “reconstituted” ಪದ ” ಸಾಂದ್ರೀಕರಣದಿಂದ ಪುನರ್ರಚಿಸಲಾದ ರಸದ ಹೆಸರಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪುನರ್ರಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ನಮೂದಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ, ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕಾಂಶದ ಸಿಹಿಕಾರಕಗಳು 15 gm/kg ಮೀರಿದರೆ, ಉತ್ಪನ್ನವನ್ನು ‘ಸಿಹಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ರಸ’ ಎಂದು ಲೇಬಲ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
