ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಅಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆರೋಪಿ ಆರ್.ಡಿ.ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಗೋಡೆ ಹಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೇ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಶಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಆತ ಇರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಐಪಿಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರೂ ಬಂಧಿಸದೆ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಲು ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಕುರಿತು ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಶಾಮೀಲಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತನಿಖೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರ್.ಡಿ.ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೆಸರು ಪದೇ ಪದೇ ಇಂಥ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಆರೋಪಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಯ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥದ್ದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಅಕ್ರಮದ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮರುಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗೃಹ ಇಲಾಖೆ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವಿಷಯ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ತನಿಖೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲೆ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸಿಐಡಿ ತನಿಖೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ಯಾಂಶ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಬೇಕು. ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಮರುಕಳಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂಬ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
