    ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಿಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೂ ಗೃಹಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಿಲ್ ರಿಯಾಯಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹೊರೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕಳೆದ ತಿಂಗಳೂ 1.50 ರೂ.ನಷ್ಟು ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಿಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯವರು ಜಾಹೀರಾತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಗೂಬೆ ಕೂರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
