ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಏ.12- ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ಬಸ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸೋಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕುಖ್ಯಾತ ಆಂಧ್ರದ ಗೋಕಾರಂ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗ್ ಬಂಧಿಸಿರುವ ವೈಟ್‍ಪೀಲ್ಡ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು 30 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 107 ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಗೋಕಾರಂ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗ್ ನ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್, ರವಿತೇಜ್,ಪೆದ್ದಪ್ಪ, ಬಾಲರಾಜ್,ರಮೇಶ್, ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಯಿಕುಮಾರ್ ಸೇರಿ 6 ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ತೀವ್ರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ದಯಾನಂದ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಂಧಿತ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗ್ ನಿಂದ 30 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮೌಲ್ಯದ 107 ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓರ್ವ ವಾರಸುದಾರ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಉಳಿದ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಗಳ ವಾರಸುದಾರರು ವೈಟ್ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಲು ಅವರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಕಳೆದ ಎ.4 ರಂದು ಬಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಕಳವು ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ವೈಟ್‍ಪೀಲ್ಡ್ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಖಚಿತವಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿ ಗ್ಯಾಂಗ್ ನ ಖದೀಮರನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಅರೋಪಿಗಳು ಕಾಡುಗೋಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೆನ್ನಸಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ರೂಮ್‍ನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಈ ರೂಮ್‍ನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲಾಗಿ 80 ವಿವಿಧ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಶೇಖರಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಪ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ
ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ಅವಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬಾಡಿಗೆ ರೂಮ್‍ನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಆ ರೂಮ್‍ನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ 24 ವಿವಿಧ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ಶೇಖರಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿರುವುದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ 107 ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ವಶ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.
ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ಜನಸಂದಣಿ ಇರುವ ಬಿ.ಎಂ.ಟಿ.ಸಿ.ಬಸ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್‍ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಅರಿವಿಗೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ಪಿಕ್ ಪಾಕೆಟಿಂಗ್/ಕಳ್ಳತನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ನಂತರ ಕದ್ದ ಮಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಶೇಖರಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂತರ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬಸ್‍ಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೊರರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯು ತನಿಖೆಯಿಂದ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
