ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅ.2 – ಈದ್ ಮಿಲಾದ್ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಟೌಟ್ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ಗುಂಪುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ನಡೆದ ಮಾತಿನ ಚಕಮಕಿ ಘರ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕಲ್ಲುತೂರಾಟ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ (Shimoga) ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ನಗರದ ಹೊರವಲಯದ ರಾಗಿಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಈದ್‍ಮಿಲಾದ್ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯ ವೇಳೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ತೂರಾಟ, ಲಾಠಿ ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು, ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬೂದಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ ಕೆಂಡದಂತಿದೆ.
ಈದ್‍ಮಿಲಾದ್ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಬೃಹತ್ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಟೌಟ್ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವರು ಆಯೋಜಕರ ಜೊತೆ ವಾಗ್ವಾದ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಮಾತಿನ ಚಕಮಕಿ ವಿಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿದೆ.
ಕೆಲವು ಕಿಡಿಗೇಡಿಗಳು ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಲ್ಲು ತೂರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನಂತರ ಉಭಯ ಗುಂಪುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ತೂರಾಟ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದು, 7 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾರುಗಳು, ಹಲವು ಮನೆಗಳ ಕಿಟಕಿ ಗಾಜುಗಳು ಜಖಂಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಗಾಯಗಳಾಗಿವೆ. ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಕೆಲವರ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ
ರಾಗಿಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲಭೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮಂದಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಖುದ್ದು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಎಸ್‍ಪಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೂ ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳು ಕಲ್ಲು ತೂರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ನಡೆದ ಗುಂಪು ಸಂಘರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್‍ಪಿಯವರ ಗನ್‍ಮ್ಯಾನ್ ಸಿಲುಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು ಲಾಠಿ ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಘಟನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ 50 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿಷೇಧಾಜ್ಞೆ ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಬಂದೋಬಸ್ತ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತಾ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಮುಂಗಟ್ಟುಗಳು ಮುಚ್ಚಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಘೋಷಿತ ಬಂದ್‍ನ ವಾತಾವರಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ.
ತಪ್ಪಿದ ಅನಾಹುತ:
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ (Shimoga) ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲಭೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಮುನ್ಸೂಚನೆ ಇದ್ದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಗಿ ಬಂದೊಬಸ್ತ್ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಅನಾಹುತ ತಪ್ಪಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಗೃಹಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಜಿ.ಪರಮೇಶ್ವರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಘಟನೆ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಅಹಿತಕರ ಘಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎರಡು ಗುಂಪುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತಲಾ ನಾಲ್ವರನ್ನು ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಘಟನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿವರಗಳಿವೆ. ಬಂಧನದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ರೀತಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಾನೂನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಅವಕಾಶವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸಮರ್ಥರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಹೊಸದೇನಲ್ಲ. ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಲೇ ಇವೆ. ಈದ್‍ಮಿಲಾದ್ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ವೇಳೆ ಏನು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ನಡೆಯಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ಮುನ್ಸೂಚನೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಇತ್ತು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾದ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಬಂದೊಬಸ್ತ್ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು. ನಂತರ ಗಲಾಟೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತನಿಖೆ ಮುಂದುವರೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
