ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿ ಸಂಹಿತೆ ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಬರ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ವಹಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ತಂಡ ಆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಬಳಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಹಣವಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಖಾತರಿ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
