    ಹಾಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಸದ ನಳಿನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಟೀಲ್ ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಅವಧಿ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಂಡು ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದುವರೆ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಈ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
    ಮುಂಬರುವ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿರುವ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಡೆ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು.

    ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ 28 ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಆಲಿಸಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ (BJP) ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಿಯ ನಾಯಕತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ವರದಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ರವಾನಿಸಿತ್ತು ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರನ್ನೇ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾತಿನಿಧ್ಯ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿತ್ತು.

    ಈ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಯ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಹಲವು ಮುಖಂಡರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರ ವಿಜೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ಈ ಹುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಹ ಎಂದು ಸಾಬೀತಾದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
