    ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ನ.9 : ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಆಯೋಗ ಸಿದ್ದ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಜಾತಿವಾರು ಜನಗಣತಿ ವರದಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಸಜ್ಜುಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ, ಅದನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಡೆ ಸಿದ್ದಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ‌.
    ಕಾಂತರಾಜು ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಆಯೋಗ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ವರದಿ ಪೂರ್ವಗ್ರಹ ಪೀಡಿತವಾಗಿದೆ‌ ಇದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗ ಸಂಘ,ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಮಹಾ‌ಸಭಾ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ನಡುವೆಯೇ ಇದೀಗ ವೀರಶೈವ ಮಹಾಸಭಾ ಕೂಡಾ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈ‌ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದೆ.
    ಈಗ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಅಂಕಿ ಅಂಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಲೋಪದೋಷಗಳಿದ್ದು, ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಜಾತಿಗಣತಿ ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅಖಿಲ ಭಾರತ ವೀರಶೈವ ಮಹಾಸಭಾ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದೆ.
    ಮಹಾಸಭಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಶಾಸಕ ಶಾಮನೂರು ಶಿವಶಂಕರಪ್ಪ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

    ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಆಯೋಗ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಲವರ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡದೇ ವರದಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ದೂರುಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೀರಶೈವ–ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದೆ. ಅಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಟ್ಟದ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಶಾಮನೂರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
    ‘ವೀರಶೈವ–ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಸಕಲ ಜಾತಿ–ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಲೇಸನ್ನೇ ಬಯಸುವ ಸಮುದಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಜಾತಿಗಣತಿಯ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಯಾವುದೇ ವರದಿಯೂ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಒತ್ತಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
    ಜಾತಿಗಣತಿ ವರದಿಯು ಎಂಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳಷ್ಟು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನ್ಯೂನತೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಆಧುನಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕವಾಗಿ ವರದಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವೇಚನಾಯುತವಾಗಿದೆ ಪರಾಮರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಶಾಮನೂರು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ವಿರೋಧ ಯಾಕೆ:
    ಈ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಸಚಿವ ಶಿವರಾಜ ತಂಗಡಗಿ, ಎಚ್‌.ಕಾಂತರಾಜು ವರದಿ ಜಾತಿ ಗಣತಿ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಾದ ವರದಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧ ಯಾಕೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.
    ಕಾಂತರಾಜು ವರದಿಯಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೂ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಜಾತಿ ಗಣತಿ ವರದಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
