ಬೃಹತ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆಯ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರು ಸಂಘದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ನಡೆಸಿ,ಬಿಲ್ ಬಾಕಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರ ಸಂಘದ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರ ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅವರು ಬಾಕಿ ಬಿಲ್ ಪಾವತಿಗೆ ಹಣ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಣ ಕೇಳಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದಾದರೆ ಅವರು ನಂಬುವ ಅಜ್ಜಯ್ಯನ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ಹಣ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಇದು ಇದೀಗ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್,ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಬಿಲ್ ಪಾವತಿ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಯಾವ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದೂ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ,ಇಂತಹ ಆಣೆ,ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ನಾನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ನನಗೂ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಇದೆ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ. ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಯಾರು ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ’ ಎಂದು ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರು ಏನು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ನಾವು ಕಾನೂನು ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ, ಬ್ಲ್ಯಾಕ್‌ಮೇಲ್‌ಗೆ ಜಗ್ಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಕೊಡುವುದು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಕೊಡುವುದು, ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಯವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಆಗುವುದು ಏನು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಎಂದರು.
ಯಾವುದೇ ಒತ್ತಡ ಬರಲಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ತಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನನಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲ ನಾನು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಲು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು, ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಣ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಬಿಲ್ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಇದೆ. ಎರಡು, ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷ ಕಾದಿಲ್ಲವೇ ಅವರು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.
