    ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಮಾ.28- ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿಯಂತೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿಯೂ ಮುಂಬರುವ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಎರಡು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
    ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿ ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು.ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಲವಾರು ಬಾರಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು.ಆದರೆ ಇದೀಗ ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ತನ್ನ ನಿಲುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

    ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಇದೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೊನೆಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ತಮಗೆ ಎರಡು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಹಸಿರು ನಿಶಾನೆ ತೋರಿದೆ
    ಈ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ತಾವು ಈ ಬಾರಿ ವರುಣಾ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೋಲಾರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
    ತಮ್ಮ ಕೊನೆಯ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು ವರುಣಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೋಲಾರದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ದೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಈ ಭಾಗದ ಜನರಿಂದ ಒತ್ತಡವಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಎರಡೂ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು

    ಸ್ವ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ವರುಣಾದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿ ಗೆದ್ದ ಬಳಿಕವೇ ತಾವು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಂದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರುಣಾ ಅದೃಷ್ಟದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಅಥವಾ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ನತದೃಷ್ಟ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
    ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಗ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಅನಗತ್ಯ ಎಂದರು.
