ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವ ಅವರು, ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಬಳಿಕವೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸುಭದ್ರವಾಗಿರಲಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅಭದ್ರ ಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೂ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ನುಡಿದರು.
ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಅಜಿತ್ ಪವಾರ್ ಆಗಲಿ, ಅಶೋಕ್ ಚೌವ್ಹಾಣ್ ಆಗಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಂತಹ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 5 ವರ್ಷ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮತ್ತೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ಲೋಕಸಭೆ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಮರಳಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಜನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‍ಗೆ 135 ಶಾಸಕರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಆಡಳಿತ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಮುಖರಾದ ರಾಹುಲ್‍ಗಾಂಧಿ, ಸೋನಿಯಾಗಾಂಧಿ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ವಿರೋಧಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ನಾಯಕರಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಿದ್ರೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದಿನ ಒಂದೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಸಿಡಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಎಂದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್‍ಮೇಲ್ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪತನವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಅಪಪ್ರಚಾರ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅಸಮಾಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
